September 2008 Playgroup Our Playgroup at Broadgreen Primary school has extended its hours for children aged 2-4 years to 9am - 3pm daily. Children aged 3& 4 years can also access our breakfast club & after school club run by the same staff and can attend flexible sessions between 8am & 6pm Children who attend Broadgreen or St Oswald's School nursery can attend our wrap around service - we can drop off or collect children who attend their morning or afternoon nursery, they can have lunch at Playdays and enjoy fun activities in a variety of sessions available between 8am & 6pm. Sam Perrie was nominated for the national finals of Play worker of the year in June 2005. We went to London where Sam was one of 2 finalists and after her final interview with the panel of children who were the judges, Sam was awarded Play worker of the year at the childcare star awards presentation dinner.
